As a journalist I create all the time - so sometimes I actually feel like it’s factory work. And what I consider art or ‘true’ creation for myself - drawing, painting, writing poetry or somethingliterature-ish - well, I have very limited time to do any of that, or at least I allocate very limited time for it. So here we go, too much creative energy goes to work to be creative outside work? Great.

Instead of Easter Eggs

As far as I know, this drawing technique is called zentangle. I do it on paper as well, sometimes mixed with watercolour. My boyfriend loves it when I draw and he asked me to draw on this cheap acoustic guitar he has. It was a very long process, several years, due to lack of time. But this Easter I finally finished, yay!

Bittersweet Journalistic Endeavors

I rarely feel the urge to share my articles here. But this month shit life happened, and gave me a bittersweet opportunity to write with some well-hidden personal expertise. So the case is, I am a diehard Depeche Mode fan - but as in the Hungarian journalist community being enthusiastic about something is considered a seriously uncool thing, I don’t particularly advertise my expertise in this very niche topic. But this month, I wrote not one but two Depeche Mode-related articles, one on a happy occasion, one on a very sad one. A birthday and a death. It was an opportunity to think about life, death and immortality. The articles are in Hungarian, sorry!
