Spotting a Fluffball
I notice more and more birds on my own but this fluffball would’ve eluded me if it wasn’t for a great app (Merlin) that can identify birds by their songs.
George Town in Penang - A Hidden Gem
Even though I have read about George Town in Penang that it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site, I wasn’t really prepared for the beauty I’ve found there. It’s a mix of colonial architecture, Chinese, Indian, Malaysian style old buildings, wonderfully intact. I’d love to spend more time there and do a more comprehensive photo project about this hidden gem of a city.
512 3D cubes for The Knights of Ren
When HighThere released his new track The Knights of Ren I was inspired to generate a music video by using the waveform data of the song in combination with ThreeJS. The end result has 512 3D cubes that are spread from left to right and they are changing their size & color based on how loud a certain frequency is.
